Schäflein Logistics will establish a hazardous waste storage facility in Röthlein near Schweinfurt at the beginning of next year. According to the District Office, it will be the first storage facility of this kind in the entire region. The facility provides an area of 8,000 square metres for storage of materials that are toxic, ignitable, corrosive or otherwise hazardous.

Industrial and commercial enterprises who need to clean their plastic containers - so-called load carriers - quickly and reliably can take the opportunity and have this done at the new location with its 10,000 square metres.

The franconian logistics provider sprintBox has implemented an installation which also heavily polluted returnable containers can be cleaned with in an efficient and environmentally friendly way.

On Saturday, 19th October 2013, the first Education Information Day took place in the head office in Röthlein. Initiated by the Human Resources Department and filled with lots of ideas and engagement by the trainees the business group presented itself as one of the largest medium-sized employers in the area of Schweinfurt.

The training fair organized by the business juniors on Saturday 13th April 2013 at the conference centre was with about 3.000 visitors - 1.000 of them young people who were interested in an apprenticeship position - very well attended once again. China’s logisticians want to be more geared to innovative logistics concepts from Germany in order to ensure the economic growth in the Middle Kingdom. A delegation of the trade association China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) visited the Schäflein AG in Schwerte. The logistics company from Schweinfurt manages there a logistics center for Bosch Rexroth Witten.

The Bosch Rexroth AG charged the Franconian logistics company Schäflein Logistics with the materials supply of their production factory in Horb am Neckar. At the facility in the south-west of Baden-Württemberg the company, which belongs to the Bosch Group in Stuttgart, produces hydraulic system components.

The trainees are excited, just like their families and of course their employer is also more than pleased: also this year the Schäflein trainees have again achieved excellent performances. Reason enough to officially absolve the 15 graduates within a ceremony.

The Logistics Day on the 19th April 2012 broke all records with 34.000 participants at 401 events. The Schäflein AG was host of the event for the regional group Mainfranken.

The sprintBOX GmbH and the Schäflein Logistics GmbH were very delighted by the huge afflux at their trade fair stand at the LogiMAT 2012 in Stuttgart.
